Sally Charlton
About Sally:
She has been Parish Nurse at Crossroads United Methodist Church since June, 2001. Sally is Crossroads' first Parish Nurse. She retired from Illinois Central College in 2001 after 24 years of service.
Sally is married to Jimmy and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in September, 2008. They have been blessed with four sons and seven grandchildren. Jimmy works part-time at Illinois Central College in the Building Maintenance Department. Their oldest son, Jim, went to be with Jesus seven years ago. Jim’s two daughters still live in Washington. David is their second son and he is a very talented carpenter. He has been in Texas since 1981; he and his family live in Austin. Jeffrey is Sally and Jimmy’s third son. He is an Account Manager at C.H. Robinson and he and his sons live in Washington. Matthew is their fourth son. He is a trader at the Mercantile Exchange in Chicago. Matthew and his wife live in Naperville.
Sally is very active in various ministries at Crossroads. She has been a die hard Cubs fan for quite a few years. Her favorite websites are medlineplus.gov and chicago.cubs.mlb.com. She is a political junkie and is in her glory because of the all the excitement of the election year. She loves to cross stitch and read in her spare time.
