#8 Funeral Dinners

One of the missions of the United Methodist Women is the serving of a meal to the family of any deceased member of Crossroads, or for a family member or friend of a member of Crossroads, following their memorial service. 

This time following the service gives the family members, who might not otherwise see one another very often, an opportunity to fellowship and enjoy a meal together, as well as celebrate the life of their deceased family member by sharing memories and stories of their loved one.

Family members are requested to pay for the meat.  The remainder of the meal is provided by the women of the church and the United Methodist Women.  A donation is always appreciated in order to cover the expenses in the preparation of the meal.
